These terms cover the use of this website and summarise the service. Full carriage terms are agreed when you open your locker and at the time of each shipment.
What this site is
This site describes R&M Cargo's services and lets you check the status of a shipment. It is not a booking platform: every shipment is arranged on WhatsApp, by phone, or at the branch.
About the published rates
The rates shown on this site are those published by R&M Cargo and may change. The amounts the calculator shows are estimates: the final total is determined when the package is weighed and measured at the warehouse and includes any customs charges that apply. Any package under one pound is billed as one pound, and electronics whose invoice value exceeds US$300 carry an additional charge of 10% of that value. Promotions do not apply to home appliances and only hold within the announced dates. The full conditions are on the policies page.
Quotes
A quote sent on WhatsApp is a good-faith estimate based on the information you gave us. If the weight, volume or nature of the product differs from what was declared, the rate is adjusted.
Prohibited and restricted products
R&M Cargo does not carry drones, spy cameras, specialised binoculars, sharp objects, syringes, cash, explosives, radioactive material, tyres of any kind, vapes, perishable food, animals or pornography. The full list, and the guarantee conditions for fragile items, are on the policies page. It is the customer's responsibility to check before buying. A prohibited product may be held by customs, and R&M Cargo is not liable for holds arising from goods that were not declared correctly.
About tracking
The status shown on the tracking page comes from the carrier's system and reflects the last movement on record, which may lag the real position. Tracking reaches our warehouse: the confirmation that your package is ready to collect comes from us on WhatsApp, and that is the one that counts.
Collection at the branch
Packages are collected at the branch during opening hours, on presentation of identification. We notify you when the package is available.
Liability
R&M Cargo is liable for goods under the terms agreed at the time of shipment. Transit times are estimates and may vary for reasons outside our control, including customs, weather and flight or sailing availability.
