The regular rate for general cargo is $7.00 per pound by air and $3.00 per pound by sea, always in force. This month the Güegüense promotion brings air to $6.50 and sea to $2.50. If you are a student, it is $5.50 air and $1.99 sea. Any package under one pound is billed as one pound.

Electronics have their own rate: $8.50 per pound by air and $4.50 per pound by sea. If the invoice value is over $300, a further 10% of that value is added and you have to show the invoice at pickup. Air arrives in 24 to 72 business hours from departure out of Miami, with departures Monday to Thursday. Sea takes 15 business days from departure out of Miami, with departures every Friday. However long Amazon, UPS, USPS or FedEx take to drop your package at our warehouse is outside our control: our clock starts when the package enters the warehouse.

Air is faster and dearer; sea is cheaper and takes longer. It is the same box at two speeds: you choose depending on whether you are in a hurry or watching the cost.

No. Changes between sea and air are not permitted in either direction, because each route leaves on its own schedule and a switch would delay the whole dispatch. Choose the route when we tell you the weight.

That is where commercial cargo wins: it is charged by cubic foot rather than by pound, from $25 per cubic foot. If you do not know how to work out the volume, put the width, height and depth in inches into the rate calculator and it does the cubing for you.

Measure the outside of the box in inches — width, height and depth — and put those three numbers into the calculator. A cubic foot is 1,728 cubic inches; the calculator converts it and gives you the estimate. You do not have to work it out yourself.

Yes. It is quoted per cubic metre, from $600 per CBM, with constant departures. It is the route for stocking inventory at origin cost.

Yes, with guaranteed weekly departures and delivery in 10 to 15 days. It is charged at $250 per cubic metre (CBM). Perfume and cosmetics are quoted separately.

Drones, spy cameras, specialised binoculars, sharp objects, syringes, cash, explosives, radioactive material, tyres of any kind, vapes, perishable food, animals and pornography are not carried. Home appliances do ship, but they are excluded from every promotion. If in doubt, send us the product link before you buy it.

By sea they carry no guarantee unless they travel in adequate packaging or with a FRAGILE sticker. That applies to perfume, glass, televisions without their original packaging, unprotected furniture, screens, monitors, security cameras, computers, phones, headphones and quartz watches. The recommendation is to send them by air.

Yes, to Nandaime, Granada and Jinotepe. These are not branches with a counter: the place and the time are arranged with you on WhatsApp once your package is ready.

A package is considered abandoned after one month without being collected from our offices, and R&M Cargo is not responsible for packages abandoned after that period. We message you when it is ready, so it should not come to that.

To request information or claim on a package you have 15 calendar days from the delivery date recorded on the purchase platform. To claim a difference in the invoiced weight you have 7 calendar days from the invoice date; after that the invoice is considered accepted.

With the number we give you, you can check it on the tracking page of this site. When it is ready to collect we message you on WhatsApp: that is the confirmation that counts.
